Da Grandi

"Da Grandi," a film directed by Fausto Brizzi, tells the story of a group of 9-year-old children, Marco, Tato, Serena and Leo, are bound by a strong friendship that leads them several times to defend each other. The four, however, also have a very similar family situation; in fact, they are all given little consideration by their parents. The four find themselves reunited on the evening of Marco's birthday, and when the time comes to blow out the candle, they all express the exact same wish, which is to grow up and become big. The next day they wake up as adults, the age of their parents, although their behaviors are still those of 9-year-olds. From this moment begins a series of (dis)adventures that will see the four grappling with the daily life of an adult; they will, in fact, have to find a job and a home. Marco, Tato, Serena and Leo are 9 years old and are inseparable friends ready to defend themselves from the spite of their schoolmates. All four feel neglected by their families. On the evening of Marco's birthday, they find themselves blowing out the candle together and unknowingly make the same wish: to grow up. They find themselves the same age as their parents but with the typical behaviors and thoughts of children.
