Pantafa

Marta, increasingly concerned about the strange hallucinations affecting her daughter Nina, decides to take her to live in the mountains. The two thus rent a somewhat ghostly-looking old house in the small town of Malanotte. However, Nina's clinical situation continues to worsen: the child begins to suffer from severe hypnagogic paralysis that takes on horrific characteristics: during the paresis Nina sees a ghostly figure coming out of the walls, crouching on her chest and trying to suck out her soul. Nina's worries and suggestions are magnified by Mrs. Ursa, a neighbor, who recognizes Pantafica in Nina's description, a damned soul that haunts children's nights. Is it all in her head, as Marta claims, or has the evil really taken on real connotations?
