Scordato

"Scordato" follows the story of Orlando, a piano tuner living in Salerno, Italy. Cold and lonely, his life, already plagued by back pain from his job, changes when he meets Olga, a physical therapist who diagnoses him with an "emotional" contracture and asks him to bring her a photo of himself as a young man so she can help him. The unusual request prompts Orlando to set out on a journey to his home country of Lauria, from which he ran away to leave his problems behind. During the journey he is accompanied by a figure who has been haunting him for some time and tries to spur him on to face reality. In his country, Orlando relives almost as a spectator the events of his life that made him the "contracted" man he is today, as well as the climate of resignation and indifference that continues to plague his land.
