Maradonapoli

In 1984, Napoli president Ferlaino miraculously managed to buy the greatest player in the world and among the greatest ever, Diego Armando Maradona, not without a little expedient - facilitated by a not coincidentally Neapolitan clerk - that allowed him to register the purchase a couple of days out of time. A detail that only makes more fortuitous, and therefore more magical, the story of the advent of the number 10 in the Neapolitan city, which thanks to him will be awarded the highest national football trophies and find a faith that goes far beyond that of the ball. In fact, Maradona immediately rises to mythical figure, a scaramantic icon between the sacred and the profane, with relics and votive chapels, who succeeds in transforming a city bent by difficulties and a still recent earthquake (of 1980) into a great and united community strong in inexhaustible optimism.
