Olga

Kiev, 2013. Olga is a 15-year-old Ukrainian gymnast preparing for the European championships, but the situation in her home country is explosive, and Olga, whose late father was Swiss-French, contemplates joining the Swiss national team. However, this would mean acquiring that country's nationality, as Ukraine does not grant the possibility of dual citizenship. Ilona, Olga's mother, is a journalist heavily involved in protests against the Ukrainian government and writes exposé articles against pro-Russian President Viktor Yanukovych. An attack on Ilona's car with Olga also on board convinces the girl to make her choice and move to French Switzerland for training. But from her cell phone, images of the Ukrainian situation are constantly coming to her, which is rapidly deteriorating, all the way to the revolution in Maidan Square. And Olga will have to decide between her two loyalties: to the competitive sport that has always been her passion or to her home country in battle.
