The Alto Knights

In the middle of the fifties, New York is the scene of a power struggle between two of its most feared mafia bosses: Frank Costello and Vito Genovese. Once allied, their paths diverge when Costello, tired of violence and betrayal, decides to withdraw and cede control of the Luciano family. Genovese, consumed by ambition and paranoia, does not believe in his intentions and suspects a deception. This skepticism leads to a silent and deadly war between the two.
Tension culminates when Genovese orders the assassination of Albert Anastasia, Costello’s designated successor, killed while he is sitting in the barber chair. This act of violence breaks the fragile peace and forces Costello to face a terrifying reality: his life, and that of his beloved wife, are hanging by a thread. To ensure their safety, Costello is forced to dismantle the entire empire he has built.
