Anora

Set in New York City, Anora tells the story of Anora Mikheeva (played by Mikey Madison), a 23-year-old Russian stripper working at Brighton Beach. One day, during his shift in a club, he meets Vanya Zakharov (Mark Ėjdel'štejn), the son of a powerful Russian oligarch. Despite the social and cultural differences, a relationship is born between the two that leads them to marry impulsively in Las Vegas. This decision triggers a series of events involving them in an intricate game of power, identity and survival.
