My Everything

The protagonist, Mona (played by Laure Calamy), is a single woman who lives with her son Joël (Charles Peccia-Galletto) in an apartment in Créteil, a suburb of Paris. Joël, a 30-year-old disabled man who works in a specialized facility, falls in love with his colleague Océane, who is also disabled. When Mona finds out that Océane is pregnant, the symbiosis between mother and child begins to unravel.
The film focuses on Mona’s inner conflict, divided between her desire to protect her son and the recognition of his autonomy. The narrative explores the emotional nuances of a mother who must confront her child’s growth and desires, questioning established family dynamics.
