Tre Amiche

In Lyon, three forty-year-old teachers, Joan, Alice and Rebecca, are linked by a deep friendship but also by complex emotional dynamics. Joan, married to Victor and mother of a daughter, realizes that she no longer loves him and decides to leave him. Alice, her friend and colleague, reassures her, revealing that she too no longer has a passion for her partner Eric, but considers their relationship stable and reassuring. However, Joan is unaware that Eric has a secret relationship with Rebecca, the only one of the three to be single, who lives love as an adventure without commitments.
When Joan leaves Victor, he dies in a car accident, leaving an emotional void that upsets the lives of the three women. Alice, meanwhile, begins a relationship with Stéphane, a painter she meets through Rebecca, while Joan opens up to a new possibility with Thomas, a charming writer who moves into the apartment next door to hers. Their lives are intertwined in a game of truth, lies and desires, exploring the nuances of love, friendship and grief.
