Queer

In 1950s Mexico, William Lee (Daniel Craig), a middle-aged American expat, lives a deep loneliness in Mexico City. His existence takes place between occasional encounters and a constant search for human connection. The meeting with Eugene Allerton  (Drew Starkey), a young student who has just arrived in the city, gives him hope of being able to establish an authentic and deep connection.
The film explores their relationship, marked by intense moments of passion and vulnerability, as both confront their own addictions and desires. The narrative develops through psychedelic experiences and symbolism, reflecting the emotional turmoil and personal challenges of the protagonists.
